About the PositionOur client is seeking an experienced local CDL-A Shuttle Driver for an on-site, third-shift position. This role involves shuttle runs and moving 53-foot trailers in and out of loading doors. Drivers are home daily and operate modern, well-maintained equipment.
Pay & Schedule- $31.50 per hour
- Average weekly pay of $1,350
- Overtime available after 40 hours
- Consistent pay increases
- Monday through Friday
- 11:00 p.M. to 7:00 a.M.
- 40 hours per week
- Home daily
- Route type: Local shuttle
- Freight: Trailer and facility shuttle operations
- Equipment: 53-foot trailers and late-model equipment
- Handling: No-touch freight
- Work setting: On-site
- Perform local shuttle runs and move 53-foot trailers in and out of loading doors.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
- Maintain accurate driving and vehicle inspection logs.
- Secure loads and verify trailer conditions.
- Follow all DOT, FMCSA, and workplace safety procedures.
- Valid Class A CDL.
- 6+ months of recent, relevant, and verifiable CDL-A driving experience, including experience within the last 3 years.
- Experience operating 53-foot trailers.
- Valid DOT Medical Card.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
- Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements.
