We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to provide comprehensive care in various settings including home health care, hospitals, outpatient clinics, and rehabilitation centers. The Physical Therapist will be a vital part of a rehabilitation team, often working independently or as a team lead, focusing on orthopedic and neurological rehabilitation within general physical therapy practice.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients' physical conditions and needs
- Develop personalized treatment plans
- Prescribe therapeutic exercises and manual therapy techniques
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments accordingly
- Educate patients on injury prevention and pain management
- Document patient records accurately and timely
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize care
- Implement strategies for pain management and rehabilitation
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Physical Therapist
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in physical therapy
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or related field
- Strong skills in patient assessment and therapeutic exercise
- Proficient in manual therapy techniques and rehabilitation planning
- Experience with pain management and patient education
- Excellent communication, empathy, and problem-solving abilities
