Job Overview
Looking to hire a trial attorney. New graduates taking the bar are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
- Represent clients in criminal defense and family law cases.
- Conduct legal research, draft motions, pleadings and briefs.
- Have reliable transportation to travel to and from court hearings. Most travel is restricted to surrounding counties.
- Manage your own caseload and try cases to judges, magistrates and juries.
Experience
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Licensed to practice in Ohio or taking the Ohio bar to obtain an Ohio license.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently, and to schedule and meet deadlines
