Welder II & III - 2nd Shift
Location: Virginia Beach, VA
Job Type: Full-Time | Contract-to-Hire | Onsite
Pay: $24.00-$32.00/hour + 15% Shift Differential

Looking for a welding opportunity with higher earning potential? We're hiring Welder II and Welder III professionals for 2nd Shift at a growing manufacturing facility in Virginia Beach. This is a full-time, onsite position offering competitive pay, a 15% shift differential, overtime opportunities, and the potential to convert to a permanent employee.
Shift- 2nd Shift
- 15% Shift Differential
- Perform MIG, TIG, wire, spot, and oxy/acetylene welding.
- Fabricate and assemble structural components including frames, I-beams, fuel tanks, and welded assemblies.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions.
- Set up materials and equipment for fabrication, assembly, and repairs.
- Use grinders, sanders, and other hand tools to finish welds and prepare materials.
- Inspect completed welds and perform repairs or rework as needed.
- Assist with pressure testing, quality inspections, and final product verification.
- Maintain welding equipment and keep work areas clean and organized.
- Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards.
- Previous welding experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.
- Experience with MIG welding required; TIG experience is a plus.
- Ability to read blueprints and fabrication drawings.
- Strong measuring, layout, and basic math skills.
- Ability to safely operate welding and fabrication equipment.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Vocational welding training preferred.
- MIG welding certification preferred.
- TIG certification is a plus.
