Job Description Job Description ATTENTION: Please call our office at this number only.About the Role: Join Second Allied LLC (Bay City Medical Transportation) as a NEMT (Driver) in Daly City, CA, where you will play a crucial role in providing safe and reliable transportation for those in need. We are looking for dedicated individuals who are passionate about making a difference in their community.
Responsibilities:
- Transport clients to and from dialysis and medical appointments
- Ensure the safety and comfort of passengers during transit.
- Maintain a clean and well-functioning vehicle.
- Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking as needed.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations to ensure safe driving practices.
- Document and report any incidents or vehicle issues promptly.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding schedules.
- Provide exceptional customer service and support to clients at all times.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Previous experience as a driver, preferably in a NEMT or similar role.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
- Ability to assist clients with mobility challenges.
- Knowledge of the Daly City/San Francisco area and surrounding communities.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours, weekends and some holidays.
- Pass a background check and drug screening.
- Compassionate and patient attitude towards clients.
- Can lift 25 - 50lbs
