Locums Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery coverage in North Carolina, inpatient only, with weekend call blocks and no outpatient clinic responsibilities. Coverage runs weekends from January through September 2027.

Practice Setting
- Inpatient setting, adult patients only
- Clinical care for a high volume plastic surgery service, mix of consults and some primary admissions
- Typical inpatient census is 10+ across primary patients and consults
- Average weekend admissions are 2+, mostly consults
Schedule
- 24 hour weekend call coverage, Friday morning through Monday morning
- Weekend coverage need from January through September 2027
- Scheduled hours are 7a to 7a
Cases and Procedures
- Hand and facial trauma coverage as part of the inpatient plastic surgery service
- Typical surgical volume is 2+ cases per weekend, generally fewer than 10
Requirements
- Must be an MD or DO
- North Carolina medical license required, will not wait for license
- Board Certified in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery
- ACLS, BLS, and DEA required
