Job Description

The Remote Registered Dietician role, based in Georgia or 50 miles from the Georgia border, focuses on delivering comprehensive nutritional care to pediatric and adult populations through telehealth. This individual contributor position requires expertise in conducting nutritional assessments, care planning, and patient counseling using specialized telehealth software and standard nutrition assessment tools. The role is fully remote with no travel obligations, emphasizing collaboration, education, and compliance within a healthcare setting.

 

Responsibilities

  • Conduct nutritional assessments for pediatric and adult patients
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Provide patient counseling via telehealth platforms
  • Document patient interactions and nutritional progress accurately
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient outcomes
  • Educate patients and families on nutrition and wellness
  • Ensure compliance with relevant health regulations and standards
  • Perform follow-up monitoring and case management to track patient progress

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year experience in dietetics and preferred experience with autistic pediatrics
  • Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential
  • State of Georgia dietitian license
  • Proficiency in nutritional assessment and medical nutrition therapy
  • Skilled in patient counseling and use of electronic health records (EHR)
  • Experience with telehealth platforms
  • Strong communication, critical thinking, and time management skills
