We are seeking a skilled and motivated Welder/Fitter to join our dynamic team in Louisville, KY, 40223. In this role, you will play a crucial part in fabricating and assembling metal structures and components, ensuring high-quality standards and safety protocols are met. 1st Shift: 6am-2:30pm M-F

Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine welding requirements.
  • Perform welding and fitting tasks using various techniques, including Flux-Core and stick welding.
  • Assemble metal components and structures with precision and attention to detail.
  • Inspect finished products for quality and compliance with specifications.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety regulations and best practices.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure project timelines are met.
  • Identify and troubleshoot issues that may arise during the welding and fitting process.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in welding or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience as a welder/fitter, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
  • Proficient in various welding techniques and equipment.
  • Strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures in a welding environment.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

  • Tape Measure Reading
  • Welding Setups for Production
  • Blueprint Reading

Machines & technologies you'll use:

  • Flux-Cored Arc Welder
