About the Role:
ABA Results LLC is looking for a passionate and dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our growing team in Fort Myers, FL! Responsibilities:
- Implement individualized occupational therapy treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT)
- Assist clients in developing fine motor skills, sensory processing, and activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Document client progress, session notes, and treatment outcomes accurately and in a timely manner
- Collaborate with OTs, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure continuity of care
- Adapt therapeutic activities and interventions to meet each client's unique needs and goals
- Maintain a safe, supportive, and engaging therapy environment
- Participate in team meetings, trainings, and ongoing professional development
Requirements:
- Active COTA certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)
- Valid Florida state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure as a COTA
- Experience working with pediatric, adult, or diverse patient populations preferred
- Strong knowledge of occupational therapy principles, ADLs, and therapeutic interventions
- Excellent communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment
