Schedule: 2nd Shift | Monday–Friday
Assignment: Temp-to-Hire


Build. Weld. Fabricate. Grow.

We are looking for a skilled Welder/Fabricator I to join their Systems Manufacturing team in Tucson. In this role, you’ll help build pipe fixtures, manifolds, sub-assemblies, and decks used in irrigation pump stations, filtration systems, and related equipment.


What You’ll Do

  • Read and interpret engineering blueprints and welding specifications.
  • Measure, lay out, align, and prepare components for fabrication.
  • Perform MIG and/or TIG welding on carbon steel and stainless steel.
  • Fabricate and assemble pipes, fittings, manifolds, and other metal components.
  • Use calipers, tape measures, squares, and other measuring equipment to verify dimensions.
  • Perform plasma cutting and operate grinders, saws, drills, sanders, and other shop equipment.
  • Thread and assemble pipes and fittings using threading equipment.
  • Weld in various positions, including vertical, horizontal, and overhead.
  • Inspect finished welds and components for quality, accuracy, and defects.
  • Maintain welding equipment and work areas in a safe condition.
  • Work closely with the Production Supervisor and Lead Welder to meet production deadlines.
  • Contribute ideas for improving processes, tooling, equipment, and productivity.
  • Follow established safety, quality, and manufacturing procedures.


What We’re Looking For

  • 1–3+ years of MIG and/or TIG welding experience
  • 1+ year of plasma cutting experience
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints.
  • Experience using hand tools and precision measuring equipment.
  • Comfortable operating power and pneumatic tools such as grinders, band saws, drill presses, chop saws, and sanders.
  • Strong attention to detail and good manual dexterity.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a team.
  • Basic understanding of mechanical concepts, geometry, and metallurgy.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • High School Diploma or GED.


Preferred Qualifications

  • AWS welding certification.
  • Technical school or welding/fabrication training.
  • Pipe welding or pipe fitting experience.
  • Knowledge of OSHA and workplace safety practices.
  • Familiarity with 5S or other lean manufacturing practices.
  • Sheet metal fabrication experience.
