Job Description:

Up to $20,000 Sign on Bonus for eligible candidates.

\n

\n

Work Schedule: 6:30am-3:00pm Monday-Friday Days with Call

\n
    \n
  • Utilizes physician preference cards to set up operating suites and updates cards as instructed.
  • \n
  • Determines appropriate surgical equipment and supplies based on physician preferences.
  • \n
  • Achieves temporary and permanent hemostasis using appropriate techniques. Assists with body plane closures, wound dressing applications, and securing drainage systems.
  • \n
  • Provides visualization for operative sites through tissue manipulation, retraction, sponging, suction, and irrigation.
  • \n
  • Handles instruments, supplies, and equipment during surgical procedures, anticipating needs of the surgeon.
  • \n

Education:

  • Associate (Preferred)
  • \n
  • High School Grad or Equiv (Required)
  • \n
\n


Work Experience:

  • 2+ job related experience (Preferred)
  • \n
\n


Licenses and Certifications:

\n
    \n
  • Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) (Required) AND
  • \n
  • Certified Surgical First Assistant (CSFA) (Required) OR
  • \n
  • Certified Surgical Assistant (CSA) (Required) OR
  • \n
  • ABSA Surgical Assistant (SA) (Required)
  • \n
  •  Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) (Preferred)
  • \n

Pay Range:

$27.68 - $51.49\n
