Key Responsibilities

  • Perform detailed inspections of electrical installations, control systems, and instrumentation equipment
  • Verify compliance with applicable standards (IEC, NFPA, local electrical codes, etc.)
  • Conduct functional testing and calibration of instrumentation systems
  • Document findings and prepare detailed inspection reports
  • Identify non-conformances and recommend corrective actions
  • Maintain inspection records and manage documentation
  • Communicate findings clearly to clients and stakeholders
  • Collaborate with project teams and other inspectors
  • Stay current with evolving standards and regulations
  • Support quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives

Required Qualifications

  • Education: High school diploma/GED minimum; technical diploma or associate degree in electrical engineering or related field preferred
  • Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of E&I inspection or related field experience
  • Certifications: Valid electrical inspector certification or equivalent (e.g., NFPA, local jurisdiction); instrumentation certification a plus
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of electrical systems, control circuits, and instrumentation principles
  • Safety: Demonstrated commitment to safety; OSHA 30 certification or equivalent preferred
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal skills; ability to produce clear technical reports
  • Physical Ability: Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in varied environmental conditions
