We are a professional staffing firm, working with organizations across the country to place exceptional candidates. Currently, we are looking for a Title/Escrow Officer. The escrow officer is the single point of contact for all outside parties in the closing process for the file assigned to him/her. They answer questions and provide exceptional customer service to everyone involved.
The Title/Escrow Officer is responsible for the specific duties listed below.
Your specific duties will include:
- Conduct buyer/seller and remote closings.
- Manage assigned files from start to finish.
- Schedule closings and request title updates.
- Review and clear title issues and requirements.
- Prepare and balance draft/final CDs with lenders.
- Prepare and review closing documents.
- Coordinate with buyers, sellers, realtors, lenders, and other outside parties.
- Serve as the main point of contact for assigned files.
- Handle complaints and resolve issues professionally.
- Follow company/lender disbursement requirements and provide them to Funding.
- Maintain positive relationships with loan officers and real estate agents.
- Confirm and provide information not handled by other BT departments.
- Contact the assigned File Attorney for legal questions/issues.
- Gather required departmental documents, including authorizations.
- Conduct lender/real estate agent visits and marketing with the Marketing Representative.
- Train new employees as needed.
Required qualifications for the position include:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Title or Escrow Officer.
- Demonstrated ability to manage a title/escrow file from start to finish.
- Excellent computer skills.
- Experience working with title and escrow software.
Preferred qualifications for the position include:
- Experience with Qualia software is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Strong communication and relationship-management skills.
- Ability to work effectively with multiple parties while managing competing priorities.
Pay Rate Range : $ 25.00 per hour
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Employees have access to healthcare benefits including medical, dental and vision as well as a 401(k) plan.
