GENERAL LABORER – EQUIPMENT YARD
Hiring a dependable General Laborer to work in the equipment yard. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, has mechanical experience, and is comfortable working around heavy equipment and machinery.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist with dismantling heavy equipment and machinery
- Move, organize, and identify equipment parts and components
- Load and unload materials, parts, and deliveries
- Prepare components for packaging and shipping
- Use basic hand and power tools safely
- Clean and maintain the yard, shop, and work areas
- Assist mechanics and other team members as needed
- Follow all workplace and equipment-safety procedures
- Perform general physical labor throughout the workday
Qualifications:
- Previous general labor, industrial, construction, or mechanical experience preferred
- Basic knowledge of hand and power tools
- Comfortable working outdoors in different weather conditions
- Able to lift, carry, push, and pull heavy materials
- Able to stand, bend, climb, and perform physical work for extended periods
- Dependable, hardworking, and willing to learn
- Must arrive on time and work well as part of a team
- Must follow all safety instructions and company policies
Work Environment:
This is a physically active position performed primarily outdoors in a heavy-equipment yard. Employees may work around machinery, equipment parts, dirt, grease, dust, heat, and changing weather conditions. Appropriate personal protective equipment must be worn as required.
