The Low Voltage Technician plays a crucial role in installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting low voltage systems across commercial and industrial projects. Working primarily on-site within small teams, this role demands technical expertise combined with strong safety compliance and customer interaction skills. The technician operates with a high degree of independence while reporting directly to a supervisor.
Responsibilities
- Install and set up low voltage systems on commercial and industrial projects
- Troubleshoot and maintain wiring and equipment to ensure optimal system performance
- Perform system testing and verification for quality assurance
- Adhere strictly to safety policies and compliance standards
- Document installation and maintenance procedures accurately
- Interact professionally with customers to address system functionality and concerns
- Manage equipment setup and ensure proper wiring techniques are followed
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in low voltage installation and maintenance
