About this position
We’re looking for bakers to be a part of our team at Le Petit Atelier, which is the commissary kitchen for our hospitality group working with our bakery From Lucie, and our restaurant Sunday to Sunday.We are looking for a production baker to join our team on a part-time schedule with ideally available (1) week day and with Friday, Saturday and Sunday availability. Full-time position will also be considered with the right baker!
Bakers:
*1 Year experience as a baker/ pastry cook in a professional bakery
*Strong understanding of baking techniques, recipe scaling, mixing, and baking
*Ability to lift up to 50lbs., stand for long periods of time
*Friendly, focused, and communicative to fellow employees
*Knowledge and understanding of safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures
*Can understand written and verbal instructions
*Help foster and contribute to a positive work environment
*Time management with personal initive
What’s gonna win you brownie points:
– Having a New York Food Handlers’ Certificate.
– Professional baking experience.
