This is a fully remote position, open to candidates based in 55 countries, including United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Germany, India, France, Netherlands, Singapore.

We are engaging Sound Designers to contribute expertise in an exciting AI training and data annotation project for a customer. In this role, you'll apply your expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. Your work will shape how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input. No prior experience in AI is required — your domain knowledge is what matters.

Scope of Work

  1. Review and assess video sessions featuring robotic arms completing real-world tasks, focusing on the audio component.
  2. Edit and annotate audio tracks to ensure clarity, accuracy, and consistency for AI training purposes.
  3. Restore audio quality by removing unwanted noise, distortion, and inconsistencies.
  4. Provide detailed feedback and annotations regarding specific sounds, events, or anomalies within each video session.
  5. Collaborate with project leads and fellow contributors to confirm annotation standards and resolve ambiguities.

Preferred Qualifications

  1. Demonstrated expertise in sound design, sound editing, and audio restoration techniques.
  2. Exceptional attention to detail, with a proven track record in identifying subtle audio nuances.
  3. Background in audio data annotation or similar technical review assignments is advantageous.
  4. Ability to self-manage deliverables in a remote, project-based environment.
