Registered Nurse Job Details: Location: Greenville, MS Unit: Hospital Newborn Nursery Setting September Start Dates (ASAP preferred) 13 weeks or longer + extensions Shift: Night Hours: 7 P-7 A, every other weekend required Schedule: 3x12s per week Pay Rate: $56/HR Paid weekly, every Friday! *If you have a Greenville, MS address you will not be considered at this time*
Registered Nurse Duties Deliver comprehensive nursing care to newborns, including assessments, vital signs monitoring, and neonatal resuscitation procedures. Administer medications and treatments with precision, adhering to hospital protocols and safety standards. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams such as neonatologists, pediatricians, and respiratory therapists to develop individualized care plans. Maintain accurate medical documentation within electronic health records (EHR/EHR systems), ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations. Educate parents and families on newborn care practices, including feeding techniques, medication administration, and developmental milestones. Monitor neonatal equipment such as ventilators, incubators, and IV infusion devices to ensure optimal functioning. Follow strict infection control practices and aseptic techniques during all procedures to prevent nosocomial infections. Respond promptly to emergencies such as neonatal distress or acute pain episodes using neonatal resuscitation procedures.
Registered Nurse Requirements: 2 years RN experience required BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP certifications required Newborn resuscitation experience required Must have an address outside of Greenville, MS (*If you have a Greenville, MS address you will not be considered at this time*)
