- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a technology and data infrastructure location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior spaces, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas, reporting unusual conditions and potential security-related concerns.
- Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, observing visitor and contractor activity, and documenting entries and exits in accordance with site-specific procedures.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating observations to appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
- Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift handoffs while helping to deter unauthorized access and supporting the continuity of technology operations.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
