An established and highly successful plaintiff litigation practice is seeking a Senior Trial Attorney to join its trial team immediately.
This opening is due to the retirement of a senior attorney, creating a rare opportunity for an experienced trial lawyer to step into a high-impact role handling significant medical malpractice, catastrophic injury, and wrongful death litigation.
The firm is looking to move quickly and hire the right attorney as soon as possible.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage complex medical malpractice, catastrophic injury, and wrongful death cases from inception through trial
- Develop and execute litigation strategy
- Take and defend physician and expert witness depositions
- Draft and argue motions, hearings, and dispositive matters
- Prepare cases for mediation, settlement negotiations, and trial
- Serve as lead trial counsel on significant cases
- Collaborate with clients, experts, and legal support teams
- Mentor junior attorneys and staff as needed
Qualifications
- Active Texas Bar License
- 10+ years of litigation experience
- Experience taking and defending physician expert witness depositions
- Medical malpractice, catastrophic injury, or wrongful death experience highly preferred
- Strong advocacy, negotiation, and legal writing skills
