Position: Welder Location: Houston, TX, 77064
** Hiring both Day and Night Shifts**
Skills: We are looking for someone who possesses excellent welding knowledge and is physically strong, and capable of working in a standing position for extended periods. REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum of 3 year of work experience in a similar role.
- Proficient knowledge of all aspects of welding techniques specially Mig Welding.
- Physical strength and ability to work in a standing position for extended hours.
- Comfortable working on elevated surfaces.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist workers in welding and cutting tasks.
- Lift, move, hold, or clamp workpieces to tables, jigs, or positions as directed, using hoists, pry bars, wrenches, hammers, and wedges.
- Clean workpieces to remove impurities, such as slag, rust, and grease, using wire brushes, portable grinders, hand scrapers, or chemical solutions.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Proven work experience as a Welder or similar role.
- Demonstrated expertise in various welding techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding specifications.
- Proficient in the safe use of welding equipment and tools.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to meet project deadlines.
- Adherence to safety guidelines and procedures.
