Accounts Payable Administrator, Corporate U.S.

 

Position Overview:

  • Location: Troy, MI 48098
  • Schedule: Fully onsite for the first 90 days, then hybrid (3 days onsite)
  • Duration: 9-month contract with potential extension to 12-month contract
  • Conversion: No direct-hire opportunity at this time
  • Interview Process: 30–45 minute Teams interview

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process, code, and review invoices
  • Research and resolve invoice discrepancies
  • Maintain vendor records and updates
  • Respond to vendor inquiries
  • Generate and analyze AP aging reports
  • Process vendor payments via check, EFT, and wire transfers
  • Support audits and accounting projects
  • Handle complex invoice postings involving multiple intercompany divisions
  • Assist with implementation of Purchase Order processes
  • Ensure compliance with accounting policies and internal controls

 

Required:

  • 1–3 years of Accounts Payable or related accounting experience (automotive manufacturing preferred)
  • Full-cycle Accounts Payable experience
  • Experience processing vendor payments in USD
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Experience with ERP systems

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • SAP S/4HANA experience
  • Automotive manufacturing environment experience
  • Experience with multi-entity/intercompany accounting
  • Exposure to EFT, wire transfers, and multi-currency payments
  • Proven success managing high transaction volumes and tight deadlines
