Warehouse & Assembly Technician

Position Summary
The Warehouse & Assembly Technician supports both production assembly and warehouse operations. This is a hands-on position that requires attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, accuracy, and a commitment to maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
Responsibilities include assembling electrical and mechanical components, operating hand tools and equipment, picking and shipping customer orders, receiving inventory, and preparing finished products for shipment.
Key Responsibilities
Assembly & Production
- Build piece parts and components used in rectifier assemblies.
- Read and follow CAD drawings, technical drawings, and work instructions.
- Operate hand tools, drill presses, and other mechanical equipment.
- Manufacture bus bars and assist with final production of assemblies.
- Perform foaming and other production processes.
- Solder components and crimp terminals as required.
- Use presses to install leads on parts.
- Install shrink tubing and other component materials.
- Operate marking machines and label printers.
- Wrap, strap, and prepare finished products for shipment.
- Maintain a high level of accuracy, precision, and attention to detail.
Warehouse & Shipping
- Pick and prepare sales orders accurately.
- Package and ship customer orders.
- Use shipping and freight-forwarding systems, including UPS, FedEx, and LTL carriers.
- Receive incoming products and materials.
- Stock and organize products in designated bin locations.
- Inventory parts, hardware, tools, and materials used in the assembly process.
- Load and unload materials as needed.
- Maintain clean and organized shelves, pallet areas, shipping areas, and workstations.
- Perform all warehouse operations in a safe and orderly manner.
Qualifications & Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
- Ability to read and follow work instructions, technical instructions, and CAD drawings.
- Comfortable using hand tools and mechanical equipment.
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods.
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and regularly bend, lift, and handle materials.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work safely and follow established procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Must obtain forklift certification within 90 days of hire.
- Must meet applicable pre-employment screening requirements.
