Job Summary

We are seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney to join our law firm. This is a full-time position that requires in person office attendance during our office hours.  In this role, you will provide direct legal counsel with clients, perform legal research, draft documents and maintain current file status using Practice Master case management software. You will gain litigation experience and have the opportunity to learn from our experienced litigation attorneys. This position is ideal for someone seeking to develop and grow in their law career, or seasoned litigator ready to replace hourly-billable requirements with performance-based pay. 


Responsibilities 

  • Provide legal counsel and negotiate on behalf of clients.
  • Conduct legal research.
  • Prepare: pleadings; discovery; briefs; motions; mediation statements; and other legal documents
  • Conduct depositions and appear for legal proceedings, including but not limited to first-chair jury trials.

Qualifications

  • Successful completion of a Juris Doctor (J.D. degree) from an accredited law school and bar exam and active membership in the Oklahoma Bar Association.
  •  5+ years litigation experience, personal injury litigation experience preferred, but not required.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and proficiency with current office technologies and case management software
