About this position
We are seeking a Board-Certified Interventional Radiologist to provide locum tenens coverage in a hospital-based setting near Seattle, WA. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a supportive team in a dynamic environment.Position Highlights:- Duration: January 1, 2025 February 28, 2025
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with on-call responsibilities during the week and 24-hour call on weekends.
- Volume: 811 cases per day, focusing on paracentesis, thoracentesis, and biopsies.
- Facility Type: Level 3 Trauma Center with an annual emergency room volume of 55,000.
- Team: Collaborate with 2 on-site interventional radiologists and a larger system-wide team of 25+ professionals. Standard IR support staff included.Requirements:
- Board Certification in Interventional Radiology (AOBR or ABR).
- Fellowship training in Interventional Radiology (IR) is highly preferred.
- Active Washington State medical license.
- ACLS certification.
- Clean background for expedited credentialing.Skills & Procedures Needed:
- Diagnostic imaging: Angiography, CT, and Ultrasound.
- Interventional procedures: Angioplasty, stent placement, chemoembolization, embolization, aortic aneurysm endograft stent, needle biopsy, thrombolysis, and kyphoplasty.Additional Details:
- EMR: EPIC for hospital documentation; Philips ISite platform for teleradiology.
- Credentialing process: 60120 days.
- Patient population: Adults, including geriatric and adolescent patients.Why Apply?
