About this position

Opportunity Highlights- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8.5-hour shifts including an unpaid 30-minute meal break, scheduled between 6:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m.; approximately 5-7 days of on-call coverage per month
- Job Setting: Military treatment facility providing outpatient pediatric care with inpatient, emergency, and on-call support as required
- Types of Cases: Pediatric examinations, diagnosis and treatment, preventive care, annual physicals, health education, diagnostic testing, consultations, referrals, and clinical support within granted privileges
- Credentialing: Clinical privileges, primary-source verification, Tier 3 investigation, Childcare Background Check, occupational-health clearance, and immunization documentation required; timeframe and emergency privileges are NOT SPECIFIED
- Board Certified/Board Eligible: Board Certified in Pediatrics required
- Certifications: Current American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, and PALS
- Licensure: Active, current, and unrestricted license from any U.S. state, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, Guam, or the U.S. Virgin Islands
- Education: MD or DO from an appropriately accredited medical school, or required evidence of equivalency for qualifying foreign medical education
- Training: Successful completion of an accredited Pediatrics internship and residency program
- Citizenship: U.S. citizenship required
