About this position

Tuesday, Oct. 13th to Sunday, Oct. 18th from 9am-6pm

The Role

As a Server, you guide each guest through Centrale’s Italian food and beverage experience with confidence and genuine care. You read the table, respect the guest’s timing and work closely with the kitchen, bar and support team to keep service personal, accurate and well paced.

What you will do

  • Welcome guests, establish their preferences and timing needs, and explain the menu with clear, thoughtful recommendations.
  • Build detailed knowledge of dishes, ingredients, wines and other beverages; confirm questions rather than guessing.
  • Ask about allergies and dietary needs, document them accurately and follow the restaurant’s communication and accommodation procedures.
  • Enter food and beverage orders accurately in the POS, using correct table and seat numbers, modifiers and course instructions.
  • Coordinate course timing with management and the kitchen, and keep guests informed when their experience needs attention.
  • Work with bussers and runners on water service, table maintenance, clearing, resets and the correct setup for each course.
  • Handle checks and payments carefully, follow cash-handling procedures and give every guest a warm farewell.
  • Complete opening, closing and side work, maintain clean service areas and support teammates throughout service.
What you bring
  • At least three years of service experience, including high-volume, fast-paced restaurant work.
  • Toast POS proficiency and strong food and beverage knowledge.
  • Warm, clear communication, confident multitasking and a genuine commitment to hospitality.
  • Attention to order accuracy, guest needs and coordinated table service.
  • Willingness to learn Centrale’s Italian menu and service standards, with Saturday and Sunday availability.
