Konya is a contemporary Korean-Japanese dining destination located at 235 Kent Ave in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.

At Konya, we focus on the art of refined simplicity. We are dedicated to presenting a curated selection of Korean-Japanese dishes that emphasize seasonal ingredients and balanced flavors. Our mission is to elevate everyday dining by blending traditional techniques with a relaxed, neighborhood-oriented atmosphere.

We are looking for hosts who can warmly welcome guests and ensure they have a memorable dining experience in our fast-paced environment.

Job Description:

• Greet guests warmly and manage reservations while guiding them to their tables.

• Assist customers to ensure they enjoy their meals.

• Maintain a deep knowledge of the menu to provide information to guests.

• Enhance the customer experience through smooth communication with guests.

• Emphasize teamwork and collaborate with both kitchen and service staff.

• Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of the dining area.

• Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.

• Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.

• A positive, "guest-first" attitude and a genuine willingness to learn.

• Basic knowledge of Japanese cuisine is a plus.
