SEYLONE Earth & Civil Group is seeking a reliable, hardworking Excavation Laborer to join our growing team.
We specialize in excavation, geotechnical investigations, test pit excavation, and site development throughout New York City and the surrounding areas.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on excavation experience, a strong work ethic, and the ability to safely drive a company van to and from job sites daily.
Responsibilities
- Perform general excavation labor.
- Assist with test pit excavation, digging, backfilling, and site restoration.
- Safely drive a company van throughout New York City.
- Transport tools, equipment, and materials between job sites.
- Load and unload construction equipment and supplies.
- Assist excavation and drilling crews with daily operations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all company safety procedures and job site requirements.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record REQUIRED.
- Must be comfortable driving a company van throughout NYC.
- Previous excavation or construction labor experience preferred.
- Ability to perform physically demanding work.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
- OSHA 30 hour construction
- OSHA 40 hour HAZWOPPER.
