About the Role

The Company is in search of a Vice President, Biostatistics to play a pivotal role in defining and leading the strategic vision for biometrics functions. The successful candidate will be the principal statistical authority, providing expert oversight across all clinical programs and ensuring the highest standards of statistical methodologies and study designs. This leadership position demands a balance of deep scientific expertise, strong strategic judgment, and operational leadership, with a focus on influencing clinical development strategies and guiding the organization through the statistical aspects of global regulatory interactions and submissions. Applicants must have a PhD or MS in biostatistics, statistics, or a related discipline, with at least 15 years' experience in biotech or pharmaceutical R&D, and a strong preference for those with expertise in cell therapy. The role requires a proven track record in leading biostatistics teams, shaping statistical strategy for pivotal clinical trials, and influencing executive stakeholders. The ideal candidate will be a collaborative, strategic, and execution-oriented leader, with exceptional communication skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. Responsibilities also include recruiting, developing, and scaling a high-performing biostatistics and data management organization, as well as driving continuous improvement through the adoption of emerging methodologies and best practices.
