About NeutraNarc

NeutraNarc is a well-respected and fast-growing Cincinnati-based company advancing drug-deactivation and disposal technology for healthcare, law enforcement, community, retail-pharmacy, and water-protection applications. We are expanding our national distribution model and building the systems, partnerships, and operational infrastructure needed to make responsible drug disposal more accessible, traceable, and sustainable.

Position Summary

NeutraNarc is seeking a hands-on Production & Warehouse Supervisor to lead day-to-day production and warehouse operations at our Florence, Kentucky facility. The primary focus is managing three pouch-filling machines and their operators, including production setup, inkjet pouch coding, packaging, and shipping. At full staffing, the production team is expected to include three operators per machine (up to nine operators total).

This role is ideal for a practical, organized floor leader who can train employees, keep equipment and production moving, maintain accurate inventory, and ensure orders are fulfilled correctly. Production volume and staffing will ramp up as business needs develop.

Essential Responsibilities

Production & Filling-Line Supervision

  • Oversee daily operation of three filling machines, including startup, changeovers, production flow, and shutdown procedures.
  • Schedule, train, direct, and support machine operators; coordinate staffing as production volume grows toward three operators per machine.
  • Set up and manage inkjet printing/coding on pouches; verify legibility, placement, and accuracy of printed information.
  • Monitor production output, material usage, packaging quality, and adherence to established procedures.
  • Identify equipment issues, perform basic troubleshooting within training, and escalate maintenance or repair needs promptly.
  • Coordinate pouch packing, case packing, labeling, and preparation of finished goods for shipment.

Warehouse Operations & Safety

  • Oversee receiving, storage, organization, material movement, and housekeeping throughout the warehouse.
  • Keep production areas supplied with raw materials, pouches, cartons, and other packaging components.
  • Maintain safe work practices, train team members on procedures, and help improve day-to-day workflows.
  • Perform hands-on warehouse and production work as needed to meet daily priorities.

Inventory, Orders & Shipping

  • Receive deliveries, verify quantities and condition, and record receipts accurately.
  • Track raw materials, packaging supplies, work in process, and finished goods; maintain current inventory records.
  • Conduct routine cycle counts, investigate discrepancies, and notify the office/operations team of shortages and replenishment needs.
  • Coordinate order picking, packing, labeling, shipping, and carrier pickups; verify order accuracy and timely dispatch.
  • Update order and shipment status and provide straightforward production, inventory, and shipping information to the office team.

Team Coordination

  • Set daily work priorities and communicate production goals, staffing needs, equipment issues, and shipping deadlines.
  • Partner with office-based staff responsible for purchase orders, supplier pricing and terms, broader logistics, regulatory documentation, and management reporting.
  • Follow established documentation and traceability procedures applicable to warehouse activities; elevate unusual or regulated-product issues to designated personnel.

Required Qualifications

  • Approximately 3–5 years of hands-on experience in production, packaging, light manufacturing, or warehouse operations, including experience leading or training employees.
  • Experience working with production or packaging equipment; ability to learn filling-machine operation and inkjet pouch coding.
  • Practical knowledge of receiving, inventory tracking, picking, packing, and shipping.
  • Ability to direct a small team, organize daily work, and respond quickly to production problems.
  • Strong attention to detail, reliability, safety awareness, and clear communication.
  • Comfort using basic spreadsheets and inventory/order systems to enter and check operational information.
  • Ability to work full-time onsite in Florence, Kentucky and participate in hands-on warehouse activities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supervising multiple packaging or filling lines and hourly production staff.
  • Experience with inkjet printers or coding/marking equipment used on packaging.
  • Familiarity with cycle counting, inventory accuracy, and basic production records.
  • Experience in a growing business where production volume and staffing needs change.
