LPNs only!
- Assess patients and dispense accurate medication amounts.
- Maintain accurate medication records to comply with DEA regulations.
- Enter verbal orders in electronic record.
- Log medication discrepancies as needed.
- Update records regarding certain prescriptions and OTC medications that patients are taking.
- Provide brief nursing assessments on new intakes.
- Administer TB skin tests annually.
- Perform monthly nurse assessments on all patients and any new intakes.
- Calibrate pumps on a weekly basis.
- Review patient charts for current monthly activity and document.
- Insure nursing station is properly maintained.
Job Requirements:
Contingent Needs may have need to cover shifts Monday- Saturday. Must be available to work on Saturdays.
- Weekday hours 4:45 am - 1:30 pm; Work every other Saturday 6:45 am - 10:30 am
- Current State of Michigan License required (LPN's only).
- Minimum of 1 year nursing experience with SUD preferred.
- Key competencies include analytical, nursing assessment skills, problem solving, diligence, planning, excellent communication skills, collaborative style (team player a must)
