About this position

Director – US Liquidity Regulatory Reporting

A global corporate and investment bank is restarting its US liquidity regulatory reporting and needs a director-level lead to run the gap analysis. The last filing cycle ran on the FR 2052a 5G template, so the core job is taking the bank from 5G to 6G and documenting exactly what changes.

You sit in the Finance team, work closely with the Head of Regulatory Reporting, and partner with IT on data and Axiom. FR 2052a comes first, FR Y-15 follows.

What you will deliver

  • A 5G to 6G gap analysis for FR 2052a: new and changed products, counterparties, asset classes, maturity buckets and validation rules, mapped against the current setup.
  • A Business Requirements Document (BRD) IT can build from: report line logic, data elements, source-to-report mapping and acceptance criteria.
  • The same gap analysis and requirements for FR Y-15 in a later phase.
  • A testing approach for UAT once the build starts.

What you will do

  • Own the requirements end to end on the business side, reporting into Finance.
  • Work with the Head of Regulatory Reporting on scope, interpretation calls and sign-off.
  • Partner with the IT team on data sourcing, lineage and the Axiom changes the 6G template needs.
  • Trace data from front office and source systems to report line, and flag gaps early.
  • Grow into the regulatory requirements lead for both FR 2052a and FR Y-15 as the program scales.

What you need Must have

  • Hands-on FR 2052a experience, ideally through a 5G to 6G transition.
  • Has written BRDs and gap analyses for US liquidity reporting.
  • Comfortable with data: can read source extracts, map data elements and talk lineage with developers.
  • Knows how FBO and IHC scoping works for US reporting.
  • Says plainly what you know and what you dont.

Nice to have

  • AxiomSL (ControllerView) liquidity templates, especially UAT.
  • FR Y-15 schedules.
  • Summit or similar trading system data.
  • LCR and NSFR background.
