Michiana Gastroenterology, Inc is a local leader in diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of gastrointestinal disorders. As a nurse practitioner, you play a direct role in diagnosis and treatment of inflammatory bowel disease (ulcerative colitis and Crohn's disease), irritable bowel syndrome, gastroesophageal reflux disease, hepatitis B and C, pancreatitis, gallbladder disorders, cirrhosis, fatty liver and many other GI disorders.

Requirements:
- Must be a good communicator and work well with others
- Must be able to work office hours: 8 am to 5 pm Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, 8 am to 1:30 pm Wednesday and Friday
- Graduate of a nurse practitioner program and certified by one of the national certifying organizations
Responsibilities:
- Assess patient's needs and determine appropriate medications and/or treatments for medical conditions
- Maintain patient charts and documentation in accordance with all state and federal regulations
- Coordinate services with medical professionals regarding individual needs of patients
- Any other duties as assigned
- Some travel may be required to our other sites
