The Journeyman Electrician plays a crucial role in wiring installation, troubleshooting, and repair work, often collaborating within small teams. This role requires a blend of technical skill and effective customer interaction to ensure electrical systems operate safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Install wiring and electrical components according to specifications
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical system issues
- Perform repair work on electrical equipment and systems
- Interact with customers to understand and address electrical concerns
- Use both specialized and general tools to complete tasks
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in electrical work
- Knowledge of electrical systems and blueprint reading
- Proficiency in wiring, cabling, and troubleshooting techniques
- Skilled in using hand and power tools
- Physical stamina for demanding tasks
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in small teams
