Journeyman Electrician – Residential & Marine Electrical
Dock Electric Inc. – South Florida
Dock Electric Inc. is seeking a skilled and dependable Journeyman Electrician to join our growing team. We specialize in high-end residential, marine, dock, landscape lighting, generator, and custom electrical installations throughout South Florida.
We are looking for someone who takes pride in clean workmanship, understands code compliance, and can work efficiently both independently and with a crew.
Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair residential and marine electrical systems
- Read and interpret blueprints, layouts, and electrical diagrams
- Install panels, disconnects, lighting systems, generators, EV chargers, and dock equipment
- Run conduit, pull wire, terminate equipment, and perform final trim work
- Ensure all work complies with NEC and local code requirements
- Communicate professionally with customers, contractors, and team members
- Maintain a clean and organized job site
- Operate service vehicles and manage tools/materials responsibly
Qualifications
- Journeyman Electrician license preferred
- Minimum 2 years of electrical experience
- Experience in residential construction and service work
- Marine or dock electrical experience is a plus
- Ability to troubleshoot efficiently
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Able to lift 80+ lbs and work outdoors in South Florida conditions
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail

Schedule
- Full-time
