Unit Specifics:
Number of Beds : 12
Patient Ratios : 2:1; 3:1 with downgraded patients
Unit staffing description-) : 1 US available for the critical care area
Type of equipment : Monitored rooms (Private), Alaris IV pumps, Respiratory Ventilators
Documentation system: MediTech Expanse
Scheduling requirements: Position title and every other weekend
Floating policy: Voluntary per expertise of area
Patient Experience requirements: Cardiac, Respiratory, DKA, Sepsis patients
Hospital Specifics-
Certifications: BLS & ACLS
Hiring profile
Requested Skill Set: ICU Background experience managing critically ill patients
Must have: BLS & ACLS
Advanced skills needed:
Procedures performed on unit: Vital signs, A-Line monitoring, Insulin drips, Sedative and Vasopressor drips
Certifications Required: None
Dress Code: (Required uniform)
Navy Blue Nurse scrubs
