Registered Nurse (RN) | Rolling Meadows, IL
The nurse will provide quality nursing services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities under the direction of the Director of Nursing.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide nursing services based on each individual's healthcare needs.
- Administer medications and maintain accurate medication administration records.
- Monitor individuals' health conditions and communicate changes to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
- Provide medication administration training to staff in accordance with DHS guidelines.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical documentation.
- Collaborate with the Director of Nursing, direct support professionals, families, and healthcare providers as appropriate.
- Promote the health, safety, dignity, and overall well-being of the individuals served.
- Ensure compliance with applicable healthcare regulations, policies, and procedures.
Qualifications
- Nursing diploma or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
- At least one year of related nursing experience.
- Current, valid Illinois RN or LPN license.
- Strong communication, organizational, and clinical skills.
