Production Technician II
Position Type: Full-Time
Shifts Available:
- First Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Second Shift: 4:30 PM – 12:30 AM
Hours: Minimum 40 hours per week - Position Overview
The Production Technician II plays a key role in supporting manufacturing operations. This position is responsible for executing production tasks with accuracy, maintaining a clean and organized work environment, and ensuring all safety and quality standards are upheld. The ideal candidate is detail‐oriented, dependable, and eager to grow within a fast-paced production setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain detailed and accurate logs of all work performed.
- Follow setup procedures and work instructions with precision and efficiency.
- Monitor manufacturing processes to ensure product quality and consistency.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines.
- Handle hazardous materials and hazardous waste under supervision of trained personnel.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the production area and equipment.
- Prepare customer orders for shipment.
- Track and maintain inventories of supplies and production materials.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support overall production operations.
- Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Mechanical engineering background or manufacturing experience preferred.
- Ability to follow standard operating procedures accurately.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to maintain an orderly workspace.
- Competence in recordkeeping and documentation.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Clear and professional communication skills.
- Demonstrated eagerness to learn new skills and capabilities.
- Ability to perform basic algebraic calculations.
- Forklift experience is a plus.
- Ability to lift and carry materials up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable working in a production environment while following all safety requirements.
