Job DescriptionJob Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to oversee and lead the clinical affairs of a community health FQHC site. This role involves a combination of clinical and administrative responsibilities, focusing on providing exceptional primary care to patients of all ages.

Responsibilities
  • Provide primary care to patients ranging from ages 0-100, with approximately 70% clinical and 30% administrative duties.
  • Work schedule includes 5 days per week, with 1 rotated evening shift and 1 rotated weekend. Current hours are Mon-Fri 9-5, with potential future expansion and rotated telehealth days.
  • Oversee clinical examinations conducted by providers at the site.
  • Review all problem cases to determine the best course of treatment.
  • Communicate with HR, Chief Medical Officer, and Director of Primary Care regarding staff-related or patient-related issues.
  • Meet with leadership to evaluate efficiency, productivity, and performance of staff.
  • Participate in monthly conferences.
  • Oversee Nurse Practitioners (NPs) and precept in the NP training program.
Compensation and Benefits

Requirements
  • NY State license, DEA, CSR (active or applied preferred) but not required.
  • Master's Degree as FNP.
  • Spanish skills preferred, not required.
  • Preferably previous community health/FQHC experience.
  • Previous leadership of providers.
  • Strong ability to communicate with clinical and non-clinical employees.
  • Exhibit leadership and navigate normal politics.
