We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Quality Inspector to join our team at King Precision Solutions. The candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and precision of our machined parts, from prototype orders to high-volume production runs.
Responsibilities:
- Perform inspections on finished products, in-process components, and First piece acceptance.
- Read and interpret machine drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Utilize mechanical gauges such as micrometers, calipers, indicators, and thread gauges.
- Conduct inspections using Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) or Optical Gaging Products (OGP) if experienced.
- Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections and test results.
- Work with minimal supervision, following directions and meeting production deadlines.
- Demonstrate excellent attendance and reliability.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Quality Inspector in a machine shop or manufacturing environment preferred.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical gauges and measurement tools.
- Familiarity with CMM or OGP systems is a plus.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and committed to maintaining high-quality standards.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
