Mechanical Engineer
Custom Machinery & Automation | No Travel
Our client has an immediate opening for a Mechanical Engineer to design and develop custom machinery and automated equipment. This role will support projects from concept and design through fabrication, assembly, and implementation.
What You’ll Do
- Design custom machinery, automated equipment, and mechanical systems.
- Create 3D CAD models, assembly drawings, component layouts, BOMs, and manufacturing documentation.
- Translate project specifications into practical, cost-effective designs.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Controls teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support fabrication, machine assembly, troubleshooting, and commissioning.
- Ensure designs meet performance, quality, schedule, and cost requirements.
- Troubleshoot design issues and implement engineering improvements.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 2+ years of mechanical design experience with industrial equipment, custom machinery, or automation.
- Proficiency with 3D CAD software.
- Experience with mechanical drawings, assemblies, and BOMs.
- Experience with pneumatics, hydraulics, or motion systems preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
