This fast-paced medical center operates an active operating room program with established perioperative workflows designed to support quality patient care delivery. The facility accommodates a broad range of surgical specialties within a structured clinical environment. Locum tenens anesthesiologist coverage is sought to address current staffing needs within the Anesthesia Department.

Independence, Missouri offers a range of cultural and recreational activities suited to diverse interests. The city features notable destinations including the Truman Home and Historic Truman Courthouse, as well as dining options, boutique shops, and cafes throughout the downtown area. Visitors will also find access to distillery tours, aquarium visits, scavenger hunt experiences, and proximity to Kansas City attractions within a short distance.

Clinicians in this role will provide anesthesia services during day shifts at an operating room facility in Independence, Missouri, working Monday through Friday on 5x8 schedules. The surgical case mix includes orthopedic, general surgery, ENT, and GI procedures; OB, cardiac, and neurological cases are excluded from this assignment. Clinicians will very rarely perform independent cases, as the role operates primarily under a physician supervision model. Call coverage is optional and may be incorporated into the rotation if desired.
