This position works independently under minimal supervision performing tasks associated with the design, procurement and installation of industrial equipment relating to air pollution control equipment such as electrostatic precipitators, fabric filters and other process equipment. The successful candidate will design, estimate, bid and oversee electrical installations and verify quality of electrical installations. Start-up and trouble-shooting of the equipment will be routine. The position will entail design work at all levels of electrical distribution up to 15kv and will involve thorough project documentation.
REQUIRED COMPETENCIES:
· Bachelor of Science in Electrical discipline preferred
· Effective written and oral communication skills
· Electrical Control programming capability is a plus
· Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite and AutoCad
· Strong organizational and time management skills
· Ability to effectively present information
· 5 years of experience a benefit
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Some travel
· Assist with the Check-Out, Start-Up, and Troubleshooting of electrical controls
· Oversight of electrical installation
· Electrical Design Work
· Extensive Project Documentation
· Other duties as requested by the Electrical Design Manager
