Dun is a new home services company launching in West Los Angeles. When something in your home breaks, you text one number and a vetted local pro comes out. No apps, no browsing reviews, no five contractors calling you back.
The role
A new company is looking for its first team member: an Operations & Growth Lead who’ll work directly with the founder and help build the business from the ground up. You’ll own how things run day to day and play a big part in getting Dun in front of homeowners. Early team, real ownership, and room to grow with the company.
What you’ll do
- Recruit and build relationships with local plumbers, electricians, and other service pros
- Vet partners for quality and reliability
- Lead our neighborhood launch: getting out in West LA, meeting homeowners, and spreading the word
- Build simple systems and use AI tools to run things smarter and faster
- Handle day-to-day issues and keep jobs running smoothly
- Help shape how the company operates as it grows
Who you are
- Operationally minded: you build simple systems, track the details, and keep things running smoothly
- Resourceful: you find a way to get things done with limited time and budget
- Inquisitive: you ask why, dig into problems, and are always looking for a better way to do things
- Great with tech and AI tools: you use tools like ChatGPT or Claude, spreadsheets, and automations to get more done with less
- Comfortable talking to people, on the phone and in person
- Organized, reliable, and calm when things go wrong
- Based in or near West Los Angeles, with a car
- Bonus, not required: experience at a startup, in home services, or in a customer-facing role
