A Long Island public accounting firm is seeking a Tax Director to lead a team of 12 and take ownership of the day-to-day performance of its tax practice.
You’ll combine hands-on review with people leadership, client management and process improvement. There is also a clear commercial remit: strengthening existing relationships and helping the firm bring in new work.
The opportunity
- Oversee and develop a team of 12 tax professionals
- Review individual and business tax work
- Set clear processes for workflow, review and deadlines
- Support the team on complex client matters
- Build long-term relationships with clients
- Develop existing accounts and contribute to new business
- Play a key role in the ongoing growth of the practice
