Welding Technician
Zing Recruiting is hiring a Welding Technician for our client in the automotive manufacturing industry!
Pay: $28-$30/hr
Shift:
2nd – 2p – 10p
3rd – 10p – 6a
What You’ll Do:- Troubleshoot welding processes, equipment, and robotic welding systems.
- Identify root causes of weld defects, downtime, and production issues.
- Adjust welding parameters to improve quality, efficiency, and reliability.
- Support equipment installations, launches, and process improvements.
- Assist with welding program modifications, tooling, and fixture validation.
- Work with Engineering, Maintenance, Production, and Quality teams to meet safety and production goals.
- Help train employees and maintain welding standards.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in automotive manufacturing, welding, or a related technical manufacturing environment.
- Strong mechanical and technical troubleshooting skills.
- Knowledge of welding processes and equipment.
- Basic computer skills and strong communication skills.
- Ability to work hands-on in a manufacturing environment.
- English proficiency required.
- Experience with robotic welding systems or programming.
- Automotive or production welding experience.
- Experience with root cause analysis, process improvement, tooling, or equipment launches.
- Previous team lead or manufacturing leadership experience.
Note: Robotics experience is preferred but not required. Training may be provided to candidates with strong welding and troubleshooting skills.
