The OpportunityWe're looking for a skilled commercial HVAC/R Service Technician who is also willing to run residential calls. Our work is roughly half commercial and half residential, including commercial refrigeration, chillers, commercial boilers, hydronic heating, and tankless water heaters. If you can troubleshoot refrigeration, chillers, and commercial boilers independently and enjoy hard diagnostic work, you'll fit right in.
Our techs are not selling techs: there's no commission, and we have separate install and sales teams so you can focus on what you do best. Our commercial workload isn't weather-dependent, so our senior techs stay busy year-round.
What You'll DoDiagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial refrigeration equipment, including rack systems, walk-ins, and reach-ins
Service and repair chillers and commercial boilers independently
Service rooftop units, split systems, controls, and other commercial HVAC equipment
Run residential service calls on furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, mini-splits, boilers, and tankless water heaters
Communicate findings and repair recommendations clearly and honestly with customers
Complete service documentation accurately and efficiently
5+ years of HVAC/R service and repair experience
Commercial service experience, with refrigeration experience strongly preferred
Willingness to run both commercial and residential service calls
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening
Commercial refrigeration rack system experience
Chiller service experience
Commercial boiler and hydronic experience
Tankless water heater service experience
EPA 608 certification
Service Fusion experience (we'll train you)
$73,000 - $94,000 per year, based on experience and technical ability. Paid hourly plus bonus, no commission.
