About the Role:
Central Industries Inc is looking for a skilled and dependable Fence Installation Technician to join our growing team in Yonkers, NY! This is a hands-on role where you'll play a key part in delivering quality fence installations that make a lasting impression for our customers. Responsibilities:
- Install commercial fencing and highway guide railing, including wood, chain-link, vinyl, and ornamental iron
- Read and interpret job site layouts and installation plans
- Operate power tools, post drivers, and other installation equipment safely and efficiently
- Dig post holes and set posts using concrete or compacted fill
- Perform fence repairs, replacements, and gate installations
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site throughout each project
- Communicate professionally with customers and team members on-site
Requirements:
- Prior experience in fence installation, construction, or a related trade preferred
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and light equipment
- Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform labor-intensive tasks outdoors
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a crew
- Dependable, punctual, and safety-conscious work ethic
