Job Description Job Description We are seeking a reliable and skilled OTR Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently across various routes. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to handle different types of freight. The Truck Driver will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining the integrity of the cargo. Responsibilities- Operate various types of trucks including flatbed, tanker, refrigerated trailer, dump truck, and roll-off truck.
- Load and unload freight securely and efficiently.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, rest periods, and cargo information as required by regulations.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on the road.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise during transit.
- Ensure that all freight is transported in accordance with safety standards and regulations.
- Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid CDL (Commercial Driver's License).
- Familiarity with freight handling procedures and equipment such as forklifts.
- Ability to operate different types of trucks including flatbed, tanker, refrigerated trailers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks.
- Strong understanding of load unloading processes.
- Excellent navigation skills and knowledge of regional routes.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients.
